Lammas is the Celebration of Harvest and begins "the chase of Lugh", the Celtic Sun God who grows within the crops.

Mabon, Autumn Equinox celebrates the end of harvest. The "chase of Lugh" ends with the cutting of the last grain. A time for thanksgiving, evaluation and meditation, taking stock and preparing for the dark days.

Imbolic, Feast of Brigid the Celtic Goddess, celebrates the approach of spring. Imbolic means "in milk" and is a time of new beginnings and growth.

Ostara the Spring Equinox or Vernal Equinox, Ostara, the Norse Goddess of fertility is honoured on this Sabbat to celebrate the arrival of Spring and marks the day when night and day are in balance. Ostara symbols are the egg and the rabbit. The time to plant seeds.

Samhain a time of endings and beginnings when the veil between the physical and spiritual world is thinnest and spirits may pass between most easily. The spirits of those that have died over the year wait for this night to pass through the gate to the other side. The earth begins its' rest at Samhain
