Caring for English Pewter
Pewter, like silver can tarnish and is best cleaned with a soft silver polishing cloth or a brass or silver polishing wad and buffed with a soft cloth.
Using a salt loaded dishwasher will corrode the polish so clean gently by hand which over time will add to the character of the finish.
